Good Energy Group was established to provide individuals, businesses and communities with simple and effective solutions to reduce their impact on Climate Change.

With Climate Change representing the greatest threat to the future of the planet, the Group is investing in a range of activities to reduce the carbon emissions that cause Climate Change. Our ambition is to reduce carbon emissions through the activities of the Group and its customers by 1 million tonnes.

Our environmental policy provides the guidelines for all our activities to ensure that we operate responsibly at all times. We seek to conserve our use of energy, we minimise waste reduction and we address environmental considerations within all our purchasing decisions.

Good Energy Generation invests in renewable generation projects across the UK to support the activities of its sister company, Good Energy. Before any investment is made, a full-scale environmental impact assessment is carried out.

Good Energy, which communicates on Group activities, publishes an annual environmental report. The report covers the details on where our renewable electricity is sourced from, the reduction in carbon emissions of our customers and the environmental impacts of our offices. It also incorporates an independent verification report on the 100% renewable status of the electricity that is supplied by Good Energy. We aim to improve our environmental performance year on year and set ourselves improvement targets to achieve every year.
